These photographs were taken at annual Keith Sykes Lecture in Italian Studies at Pembroke College, Cambridge on 19th June 2017 – the day that formal Brexit negotiations commenced. The Master (Chris Smith, Baron Smith of Finsbury) moderated a conversation between Romano Prodi (former President of the European Union and twice former Prime Minister of Italy) and Professor Christopher Hill, Emeritus Professor of International Relations, University of Cambridge. The proceedings opened up to an extensive Q&A session.
